Haute Winter

Many consider winter to be a tricky time to look fashionable, but it's all about finding the right balance between warmth and fashion. Today, I focused on how to wear a jacket that allows for more layers underneath, but still offers a flattering cut. For this look, I layered a casual button up shirt under my bomber jacket, but there would be room for a sweater or scarf if needed.

Another great feature of this particular bomber is that it is both black and tan, so it pairs well with almost anything in my wardrobe. From the office to a night out, this piece has not let me down yet.

As usual, I’m wearing fairly affordable pieces from Zara, H&M and chukka boots by Steve Madden. If you are going to splurge, I highly recommend doing so on a quality bag you’ll get plenty of use out of. This leather striped weekend duffel is by Uri Minkoff, which is perfect for a city day or spontaneous road trip.
