Story's Home for the Holidays
Story is a unique retail shop located in New York and founded by Rachel Shechtman featuring a variety of one of a kind gifts promoting small businesses from around the country. What makes Story distinct is every four to eight weeks, the two thousand square foot shop is transformed into a new theme or "story" so its design and merchandise is always changing.
Not only is Story a place to shop, but with hosting local food trucks such as Wafels & Dinges, as well as activities such as snow globe making with Kiwi Crate, Story is also interactive. Clearly, whether you are looking for a bite to eat, a little shopping or just want to play, Story is the place that has it all!
Story's latest theme for 2015 is their annual "Home for the Holidays" theme available now and throughout the holiday season. Shop features include four areas of a home including the entry hall for her, a garage for him, a playground for kids and a kitchen for everyone.
A few examples of gifts you may find are fun natural soaps from PLANT Design, headphones from B&O Play, delectable desserts from Jars by Dani, exclusive jewelry by Betty James, and girl empowered toys from Goldieblox just to name a few.
In addition, Story has teamed up with American Express OPEN encouraging consumers to support small businesses especially on November 28th, also referred to as Small Business Saturday.
With over three hundred small businesses being showcased under one little roof, as well as prices ranging from five dollars to five hundred dollars, you will surely find something special for every recipient on your gift list!
