Honest and thorough review of the Rodan + Fields Soothe Regimen
The Rodan + Fields Soothe Regimen has been a game-changer for my very sensitive skin. This 4-step regimen has saved my flaky, dry, and easily irritated skin. I find it hard to trust some new skincare brands or routines, as most people with sensitive skin will be able to attest to. My skin is typically easily irritated by cleansers, but even after just one wash with the Soothe Calming Gel Cleanser, my red, rosacea-prone skin was calmed and felt soft to the touch.
One of my favorite products is step two in the regimen, the Soothe Sensitive Skin Treatment. I applied this right away after cleansing, and it is so soothing and cooling. I typically dry out immediately after cleansing, and this product provided a nice moisture barrier before the flakes could settle in. Since I do skincare in the morning, this also helped slow down the drying effect of the cold morning air on my skin. One drop goes a long way with this skin treatment.
Step three in the Soothe Regimen is the Soothe Moisturizing Rescue Cream. This product is truly a holy grail moisturizer and is what drew me to this entire regimen. I’d received a sample of this product, and my skin has never felt so hydrated. After applying, my skin visibly brightened and the redness on my cheeks calmed down significantly. It looked as though I were wearing a very expensive concealer. This level of hydration is unbelievable, and somehow it does not feel sticky or tacky to the touch. I love how lightweight the consistency is. It applies almost like a rich, nourishing night cream. Rubbing it into my skin feels like a luxurious spa experience.
Finally, the fourth step in the Soothe Regimen is the Soothe Daily Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30. I wear sunscreen every day, and I am so satisfied with the level of coverage this product provides. There was no greasiness or overpowering residue. This product easily rivals some of my favorite sunscreens and delivers everything I look for.
I highly recommend the Rodan + Fields Soothe Regimen. This line has been a saving grace for my skin. The formula of each product is so lightweight yet effective. My easily irritated skin is instantly soothed and calmed, and the effects last the entire day.
