Fendi Couture Spring 2021

Fendi’s Couture Spring 2021 Collection combines timeless elegance with a modern edge that they are recognized for. Fendi is an Italian fashion house that never fails to impress fashion-lovers with sophisticated, chic clothing and accessories. The Couture Spring/Summer 2021 show featured breathtaking fashion with a whimsical, yet edgy and innovative presentation.

One of the most crucial aspects of a successful fashion show is always the clothing, and the outfits in this show were beautiful and unique. Most of the clothes had neutral colors such as black and tan, conveying a mature and classic vibe. A few looks had a bit of color, such as pink or green, but these hues were overall muted, so they were subtle.

Many of the outfits featured sheer details with elaborate lace, patterns and embroidery, implying that these will be prominent trends this upcoming spring and summer. Regarding accessories, many looks featured long statement earrings and small handheld purses, so be ready to see plenty of dramatic jewelry and petite handbags soon.

Another element of the show that stood out were the models. There were plenty of famous models in the show, such as Cara Delevigne, Bella Hadid and even actress Demi Moore. Androgynous looks have been popular in recent years, and this style was evident on this show’s models, as the female models wore minimal makeup and their hair was styled either short, up or pulled back. There were also a few male models walking in the show. The men were wearing makeup, which added to the overall vibe and created a sense of harmony between genders.

The setting of the show was innovative and intriguing, as the models walked through a glass maze. The glass structures featured the brand’s double F logo, and the models walked through the maze. They each posed in individual glass logo structures. There were some plants and splashes of green in addition to all the glass, which added an earthier touch. There was also music playing throughout the show, which had a dainty, whimsical sound. Kim Jones, Fendi’s artistic director, made a brief appearance at the end of the show which was a gracious way to close out the collection.

So what is the overall theme of this classy yet modern show? These have been unusual times, and the maze design could be a symbol of how many people feel trapped, while the whimsical music could be signifying hope for the future. The beautiful outfits and models may also represent that there is still some beauty on earth, even in the strangest times.
