Event Recap: JackThreads Pop-Up: The Spring

Event Recap: JackThreads Pop-Up: The Spring

JackThreads has a pretty impressive online presence, but they're starting to emerge in the physical market as well. About two weeks ago, I got the opportunity to visit their new pop-up store on Crosby street in Soho, NY.

Beyond selling high-quality, trendy, and great looking clothes, JackThreads also had some in-house stylists available to give advice on how to pull looks together. It's one thing to buy a cool cardigan or jacket, but it's another to make them your own in a unique way.

What I liked best was the atmosphere that JackThreads was able to cultivate for their existing customers while still sparking the interest of people walking by the pop-up. It was a very warm ambience, and everyone from the company seemed excited to be there. It was refreshing to have genuine conversation with whomever I came into contact with and step out of the usual β€œfashion small talk.” It also didn't hurt that there were beers on hand courtesy of Brooklyn Brewery.

Overall, JackThreads really understands who it is they're selling to. I seem to fall squarely into their targeted demographic, but after visiting an actual store I realize that I'm hardly alone. JackThreads isn't a niche store, and they don't cater to only one style.

The team was kind enough to hook me up with pieces that I’ve been loving including a marled grey shawl cardigan, buffalo check plaid jacket, comfy v-neck tee, and more. I had an amazing experience and look forward to seeing the growth of JackThreads overtime and continue rocking pieces from their upcoming Spring 2016 line.
